Introductory Jewellery Workshop - Make your own ring

This one-on-one introductory workshop is perfect for anyone looking to make a ring using the lost wax process. No previous experience is necessary to undertake this workshop. 

This is a great workshop for anyone who would like to find their creative flair and create their very own ring to wear and treasure.

What will be covered;
- The history of lost wax casting
- The process of lost wax casting
- How to find your own ring sizes 
- How to make a ring to size
- Different types of waxes & their uses
- Basic tools needed 

Your workshop fee covers tea & snacks on the day, as well as the casting costs of one of your rings made on the day (ring must weigh under 15g). Your ring will be finished by SGS and posted to you within two weeks after your workshop. If you would like your item cast in another metal, such as gold or platinum, an additional payment on the day may be made to cover the extra costs of this material.

Workshops are held in Clifton Hill, Victoria. Classes are one-on-one to ensure maximum learning potential, however, if you would like to undertake a workshop with a friend please contact me here to organise.
